Motel – The waiting room, full video

For the tenth anniversary of MOTEL project, we make public the full video of the last episode of the trilogy, THE WAITING ROOM .
After the awards obtained with the first two episodes, with the productive help of the Festival Equilibrio / Armunia and his artistic director Andrea Nanni and Schloss Broellin , gruppo nanou is betting on the final.
THE WAITING ROOM further deconstructs the dramaturgy of the first two episodes by dissipating the bourgeois interiors that had characterized the imagery of the choreographic project. The scenographies are transformed from “realistic” elements into geometries and visionary spaces.
The scenes, created by Giovanni Marocco, led the company to the ballot for the Ubu 2012 Award .
With THE WAITING ROOM , the trilogy is completed by giving life to a performance in three acts and an overall stage duration of one hour and thirty minutes. A minimal choreography written in the smallest detail to build a photographic sequence inspired by Edward Hopper’s paintings, then dissolved with this ending.
THE WAITING ROOM touches important European squares such as Nu Dance Fest (Slovakia), Vicenza Municipal Theater (Italy), Unidram (Germany), Centrale Fies (Italy), and many others.
