Coming to Milan for the Farout festival, in the industrial spaces of BASE, the choreographic installation redrum.

The title pays homage to The Shining, both Stephen King's novel and Stanley Kubrick's filmic interpretation of it, evoking the idea of a nonexistent but familiar place capable of unleashing a disturbing imagery populated by ghosts and memories in which the line between reality, dream and desire is lost. redrum is a choreographic installation for five dancers and a performer in which the rules of the theatrical ritual are rewritten to transform the show into a place to be inhabited: the dance action has no boundaries between stage and audience, mixing the real with the improbable, transforming the common perception and inviting the viewer to explore a world in which the boundaries between true and false dissolve, allowing an object to be composed before the eyes in a unique and perhaps, if we are lucky, unrepeatable way. In redrum everything happens, has always happened and will happen again. redrum is the first chapter of the new multi-year project Overlook Hotel by nanou group.
