From November 24 to 26, 2024, we inhabited the halls of the National Museum of Castel Sant’Angelo with Paradiso, a choreographic installation signed by gruppo nanou, Alfredo Pirri and Bruno Dorella.

A site-specific experience

Produced on the occasion of the exhibition Sotto l’Angelo di Castello, curated by Anna Selvi, the work was constructed from listening to the architecture, light and memory preserved in the museum’s spaces.

Paradise was not “staged”: it happened by going through the rooms, dissolving the distance between vision and presence, gesture and environment.

Bodies, sound and vision have merged into a writing that does not represent, but transfigures. A suspended time, inhabited by presences.

Paradiso is a project by gruppo nanou, Alfredo Pirri and Bruno Dorella, carried out at the National Museum of Castel Sant’Angelo – Rome.
