The positions of Artistic Direction and Organizational Direction are held without a specific contract and without compensation. Board members likewise serve without compensation. The association operates without external consultants or executive staff.
The MIC – Italian Ministry of Culture contribution for the 2026 activity, assigned by D.G.S. of 12 June 2026, decree no. 787, amounts to €60,754.
The Regione Emilia-Romagna contribution under Regional Law 13/99 for the 2026 activity, assigned by Regional Government resolution no. 10999 of 08/06/2026, amounts to €34,800.00.
The Comune di Ravenna contribution under the five-year agreement 2023–2027, for the year 2026, assigned by Municipal Government resolution no. 24039 of 16 February 2026, amounts to €12,000.00.
The ArtBonus from Fondazione Del Monte di Bologna e Ravenna, amounting to €27,000.00, supports the activity Alphabet et ultra 2026.
The ArtBonus from SIAE, amounting to €32,500.00, supports the project “Nuove creatività – goldroom”.

Marco Valerio Amico – Choreographer
He graduated in May 2001 from the Civica Scuola d’Arte Drammatica Paolo Grassi in Milan.
In 2004, together with Rhuena Bracci and Roberto Rettura, he founded the contemporary dance and research company gruppo nanou, where he serves as choreographer and artistic director.
He has presented his work with the company in Italy, Europe and the United States.
He is the creator and artistic director of the AgoraKajSkené projects (2008 > 2012), a residency project fostering dialogue between artistic languages, and Alphabet (2017 > ), a training project in contemporary choreography supported by the Comune di Ravenna and Fondazione Del Monte di Bologna e Ravenna.
In 2021 he led the post-diploma Contemporary Dance Course at the Civica Scuola di Teatro Paolo Grassi in Milan, directed by Marinella Guatterini.
From 2022 to 2024 he was choreography tutor for Anghiari Dance Hub.
In 2025 he was selected for the Resid’And project at the Accademia Nazionale di Danza in Rome.
Rhuena Bracci – Dancer/Choreographer
She began training as a gymnast at the age of 5, competing in national and international meets. She trained as a dancer with Monica Francia and Michele Di Stefano. From 1999 to 2004 she was part of Monica Francia’s company. From 2001 to 2004 she worked with Teatro della Valdoca. In 2005 she performed in mk’s Real Madrid, choreographed by Michele Di Stefano. She is co-founder of gruppo nanou.
In 2024 she qualified as a yoga teacher with “I vasi comunicanti,” the school of advanced training and research founded and directed by dancer, choreographer and teacher Francesca Proia.
Domenico Garofalo – Manager e promoter
Curator and cultural project manager in the performing arts, he began his career after graduating in Political Science, working with several festivals in Campania including Napoli Teatro Festival Italia and Ravello Festival. He earned a Master’s degree in European Studies, specializing in cultural project design, and in 2018 started collaborating with gruppo nanou as promoter and organizer. Since 2021 he has been co-director and manager of Nanou, contributing to the company’s artistic and project direction. Over the years he has worked as a promoter for dance and theatre artists and, from 2019 to 2022, as manager for Körper – Centro di Produzione Danza in Naples. Artistic advisor for dance at Teatro Pubblico Campano since 2023, he actively collaborates with various Italian and international contemporary arts organizations as curator and cultural project manager.
