Them debuts "in presence" at the Inequilibrio festival in Castiglioncello.

THEM is an installation duet that relates to the video camera and the opportunity for perspective multiplication of vision thanks to audiovisual reproduction in real time.

Winner of the 2022 Digital Residences award, THEM defines its form "in presence" while maintaining the experience gained with video shooting and live streaming.

Reflecting on the use of video, always curious about means and ways to investigate the choreographic language, continuing the research and relationship with the cinematographic and visual language that distinguishes Nanou's work, the company investigates the use of video on stage to experiment shooting methods through the use of action cams and transform video shooting into dance action.

The choreographic installation is a sequence interpreted by two dancers, repeated and rediscovered 3 times and observed, always with a fresh eye, by the handheld video camera managed by the choreographer Rhuena Bracci, also on stage.

The scene can be observed from any front.

The connotation is that of a performance in a museum space of visual and contemporary art. The image is proposed as an action to determine an immersion in the choreography.

The three televisions reproduce the choreography in real time, multiplying the perspective and experiencing the vision through a rewriting of space in a different temporal unit.
