As in a Murakami writing, secretly shown in the Second Room (represented in May 2010 at Festival Fabbrica Europa in Florence), the border line between here and elsewhere, past and future, is becoming increasingly blurred. The scene is a magnetic field open to connections that multiply the slopes in a crescendo of suspance where the solution is constantly deferred and where the evidence is, paradoxically, doing rhyme with absence.
If the First Room is dominated by cool colors – ice white, green, black – the impression is to assist in a vain attempt to restore a (sentimental) order irreparably compromised, in the Second Room is dominated by warm colors – red, brown, avana – there is an atmosphere of imminent danger and strongest erotism.
