Open doors with nanou group!
The company and the Social Theater of Gualtieri invite the entire audience to participate in an informal presentation of some of the choreographic scores proper to the artistic universe the company is building, with special reference to the redrum project. The open-door sharing of part of the creative process will be accompanied by a talk with Marco Valerio Amico, founder and choreographer of group nanou. At the end we will toast together with all participants with an aperitif on the stage.

The title redrum pays homage to Shining, both Stephen King's novel and Stanley Kubrick's filmic interpretation of it, evoking the idea of a nonexistent but familiar place capable of triggering a disturbing imagery populated by ghosts and memories in which the line between reality, dream and desire is lost.

redrum is a choreographic installation for five dancers and one performer in which the rules of the theatrical ritual are rewritten to transform the performance into a place to be inhabited: the choreographic action has no boundaries between stage and audience mixing the real with the improbable, transforming common perception and inviting the viewer to explore a world in which the boundaries between true and false dissolve, allowing an object to compose itself before the eyes in a unique and perhaps, if we are lucky, unrepeatable way.
In redrum everything happens, has always happened and will happen again.

redrum is the first chapter of gruppo nanou's new multi-year Overlook Hotel project.
