Paradiso [giardino] inhabits the house-garden-artwork of artist Flavio Favelli for PerAspera Festival.

Villa i Tigli takes in the mark of Paradiso, letting the choreography inhabit its walls and its spaces. The bodies, the visions and the sounds of Paradiso [giardino] trigger a short circuit between authorships, multiplying their meanings and their visions.

Paradiso [giardino] is a drift of the Paradiso project, bringing together the three authorships of Nanou, Pirri and Dorella.
A further exploration of the rewriting of theatrical ritual, of how the choreographic object works to inhabit and rewrite a place — on this occasion the gardens of Flavio Favelli’s Casa d’artista, in the hills of Monte San Pietro.
Paradiso [giardino] feeds on the place that hosts it: the works of the artist Flavio Favelli are part of the architecture of the choreography. Here the audience observes and follows the action while Paradiso shifts form and enters into dialogue with the natural environment: a delicate, contemplative response to the surroundings, one that alters the terms of a relationship. An artistic dialogue that aims at the creation of a total, hybrid work, allowing ephemeral visions to surface and establishing a different relation between performance, space and audience.

The performance lasts 30 minutes. Shoes come off at the entrance to Paradiso [giardino]. Places are limited, booking required: info@perasperafestival.org or +39 349 082 4190
