For Festival Aperto 2025, group nanou presents redrum [through the looking glass], a special rewrite of the work that has already won the 2024 Ubu Prize for Best Dance Performance.

Produced in co-production with Aterballetto, this new staging was created to dialogue with the extraordinary Hall of Mirrors of the Valli Theater in Reggio Emilia: an environment that, like the Overlook Hotel in The Shining, becomes a space of refraction, deception and multiplication of the gaze.

Nanou's ability to appropriate places and transform them into visions finds a new possibility in this context: the performance bends to the architecture, inhabits it and rewrites it, inviting the audience to a sensory crossing in which mirrors, bodies and lights create unpredictable perspectives.
