redrum / redgroove is a video experiment resulting from the dialogue between nanou, photographer Daniele Casadio and musician Bruno Dorella.
The tight editing of the images shot by Casadio and the music succeed in restoring the atmosphere of redrum, the nanou group choreographic installation inspired by The Shining.
The richness of redrum’s cinematic references takes shape in Casadio ‘s images and is amplified in the excerpt from Bruno Dorella‘s soundtrack. The images edited like a video clip, shot in different formats, are inhabited by enigmatic figures who act the space, whose identity is concealed or unreadable, characters who appear and disappear, through the ability to create a specific movement give life to the surrounding space, emphasize its existence.
The perturbing situations dear to nanou are mirrored in Dorella ‘s music and video montage of redrum/redgroove, an object that cannot be defined but tells the project and vision of gruppo nanou.
