Presented at the 39th Torino Film Festival as a unicum for the “Traces of theater” section,“Three visions of dance in the mirror of the video”brings together in a single solution three short films (“Silver Veiled”,“Paradiso” (video sketch)” and Prehistoric”) that see the film medium interact with dance and music to create a new experience. Borrowing the words of Alfredo Pirri (artist called to conceive the project “Paradiso“) it is not a simple collaboration between the various arts, because you have to ‘give up yourself’, ‘interpenetrate’. The result, therefore, is not the sum of the different addenda but a product to the ‘power’.
It is no coincidence, then, that each element has an important post-production work where the gaze and the movement of the camera intervene by modifying the gestures of the dancers and their performance.
