Them - Image Movement project in live streaming on Sunday 13 November at 6.00 pm and 9.00 pm from the Artificerie Almagià in Ravenna for Residenze Digitali.

Them is the gruppo nanou project winner of the Digital Residences 2022 call.

Reflecting on the use of online video, always curious about the means and ways to investigate the choreographic language, continuing the research and the relationship with the cinematographic and visual language that distinguishes the work of Nanou, the company investigates the video to experiment with ways of shooting through the use of action cameras and transforming the video shooting into dance action.
The image is proposed as an action to determine an immersion in the choreography.

In the informal relationship that characterizes us with the video medium, we value the "amateurism" of the use of video recording by allowing us to use the tool improperly.
We approach editing as Sid Vicious brandished the bass: like a club.
This approach is necessary to investigate an idea, a vision, an application of means and ways of choreography on other tools and languages, to evaluate their possible effectiveness and the trajectories to be followed with ever new alliances.

In collaboration with E production, supported by the Residenze Digitali award, the company sets up the work in the spaces of Artificerie Almagià and will present in live streaming on November 13, 2022 the work produced and realized, the first step for an ongoing research path.

Digital Residences is a production project that sees some of the main Italian production companies collaborate to support linguistic research that uses new media as a tool. Digital residences is promoted by the Tuscany Residences Center (Armunia - CapoTrave / Kilowatt) in partnership with AMAT, Emilia-Romagna Residence Center (L'Arboreto-Teatro Dimora di Mondaino, La Corte Ospitale), Luzzati Teatro della Tosse Foundation of Genova, ZONA K of Milan, Piemonte dal Vivo / Lavanderia a Vapore and RomaEuropa Foundation.
