After a trajectory that has established it as one of the most radical works of recent years, redrum returns to the stage on 21 and 22 March 2026 at the Teatro Stabile dell’Umbria.

redrum is a choreographic device that operates through subtraction and perceptual accumulation. Body, light, and sound construct a mental rather than narrative space, where time dilates and vision becomes unstable. There is no story, no psychology: what matters is the direct, physical experience of seeing.

The work is part of the broader Overlook Hotel project, of which redrum is the first chapter, and it clearly defines its coordinates: an investigation of the body as figure, space as a sensitive field, and light as dramaturgical matter.

In 2024, redrum received the Ubu Award for Best Dance Performance, confirming gruppo nanou’s research trajectory at the intersection of visual arts, scenic composition, and choreography.
